For those with a curiosity on who the richest people in the world are you can check out George Lindemann Jr and see who was at the top of the list. As you can well imagine, it is Bill Gates that heads that list. What was interesting is that the Sam Walton, founder of the giant retailer Walmart, if still alive would have been twice as rich as Bill Gates. You can also see the influence of the Walmart fortune as 5 out of the top 10 are Mr. Waltons kids. It is amazing to think that a simple idea that started in Arkansas, with the right vision, has turn into the worlds largest retailer.
