Golf balls design

Have you ever wondered what is the most important tool in a golfers bag? Many will say the clubs that they use such as their driver, or putter. I would say that what has made a difference in my game is the type of golf balls that I use. I use to think that whether I paid $8 for a dozen or $50 a dozen I was going to loose them anyway. What I have found is that golf balls with a tighter core seem to do better especially off the tee, and then using a softer core golf ball gives you a better feel around the green. It is probably not USGA rules to switch out balls, but I am not on tour and am out to have fun. Try different types of balls off the tee and around the green and you may just shave a few strokes off your game.
