Design of your mailbox
In most new housing developments they are putting in these central mailboxes. This is great for the postman, but seems to make your neighborhood less personal. I remember growing up and knowing our postman and he would bring the mail to our door and even have a brief conversation. You got to know them and something about their family and you felt you could really trust your mailman. I guess the plus side of the central mail boxes is that you get a chance to converse with your neighbors and create new friends. So the next time you venture out to get the mail, make sure you don’t wear your PJs as you never know who you will run into.
