I was at a small pizza shop today and noticed that they were offering free wireless internet to their customers. The World Wide Web has become more accessible thanks in part to high speed access and wireless routers. One of the leading manufacturers is Linksys. The Linksys router offers a multitude of features like the new Pre-N technology which is up to 50 times faster than current wireless technology. The routers are now more secure and are able to cover larger areas which is nice for businesses that provide wireless access to their employees and their customers. As more and more people purchase laptops and wireless devices the need to have routers that will provide and secure access will become as common as the TV.
