Where are the lights?
Here is an interesting design concept: What if someone could enter your site and be greeted with options like a home to enter various doors. Once they enter the door they must turn on the lights to unveil a particular product discount, or new product launch. They would then be incentivized to search through the rest of the doors and flick the switch to see what other discounts and new products may be waiting for them on the other side of the door. It creates a unique customer experience in which they are interacting with your site and creating their own value. Then when they leave that page they are asked to turn off the lights for the next guest to discover the new pages.
