Design your sink

May 29th, 2008

Orlando is the mecca of tourist destinations bringing in more that 43 million visitors annually. The concentration of theme parks overshadows some of the great benefits of living in Central Florida. Central Florida is home to Orlando, the largest destination for tourists in the world. Central Florida consists of 7 counties that offer a wide range of life style for all ages. Most will only see the theme parks and tourist traps, but there is so much more to see and do. Living in Central Florida offers great weather and access to lakes and the Ocean. You can find upscale gated communities, or planned communities where there even schools located within the various housing developments. One of these houses that we visited had a glass sink???????? that fit in perfectly the neo-modern look.

The weather is finally getting nicer and everyone is out in their yard and getting their pools ready to open. Staying in shape has gotten easier thanks to the availability of weight equipment at the local gym or even at home.

Office antics

May 27th, 2008

I love the show “The Office” and one of the most recent shows Michael was trying to pick out a new office chair and happened to find one in a catalog. What this funny was that Michael got obsessed with the office chair model and felt that she was his sole mate so he sent the office on a trek to find out who this mystery woman was. They come to find out the lady had been killed in a car accident a few years ago. I guess for most men they look lingerie magazines to see attractive woman, but maybe the office supply book will be the new place to look.

Coffe table update

May 23rd, 2008

When buying furniture it always seems that we come out with more than we actually went into purchase. We decided it was time to get a new piece for our living room and started to research the latest coffee tables that were available and the most current styles. Once we found the coffee table my wife started to look at the new bedroom sets and commenting on how ours is so out of date. It is not like we are replacing furniture from the 1970′s . So after we looked we worked out a good deal if there is such a thing at a furniture stores and came away with a new mattress and bedroom set. Oh the joys of shopping.

Find your Mothers day gift

May 22nd, 2008

Mothers day has come and gone and we were the proud hosts this year of our relatives coming over to celebrate this special occasion. We got out the fine plastic ware, folding chairs, and had a great time together. Instead of doing a formal type of dinner we kept it simple, so the Dads could prepare something on the grill and the Mom’s did not have to enter the kitchen. We even presented our mothers with a spa treatment where they have licensed therapists that have attended one of many massage therapy schools to know that our moms would be in good hands. All in all it was a relaxing day and one that ended in no family squabbles.

Light up your vacation

May 21st, 2008

One of the great areas of Maui is called Lahaina. Located on the western shore of Maui, it boasts a great shopping district. Lahaina becomes very crowded with tourists and locals alike from noontime until late into the evening, because it is located close to the resort areas of Kaanapali and Honokowai. Due to this proximity, driving through and especially along the waterfront in Lahaina becomes increasingly difficult as the day wears on. Parking can, at times, be next to impossible. Why not stay close by in a Maui Vacation house that will offer convenience and relaxation and upscale features like chandeliers and breathtaking views to enjoy your stay.

Design of clinical trials

May 20th, 2008

There are many Americans that rely on their prescription drugs to help them feel better, control their disease, and even help to keep from getting sicker. So it is always a wonder why so many criticize the industry on who expensive these particular medicines cost the general public. What needs to be understood that these medicines take years and hundreds of millions of dollars to bring to the market. There are several phases that a drug must go through before it is brought to market to assure it’s efficacy and safety. The clinical trials have to be designed and patients recruited to test the experimental drug against standard of care to insure that the medicine will bring value to the patient. During the clinical trials the use of a experienced clinical laboratory service can help in avoiding duplicate efforts and bring an economy of scales and can even help to reduce the time to market. This is done as the labs that are responsible for the trials have established trial sites and know where and how to recruit for the study which can take a huge amount of time which will increase the length of the trial. So if you are one of the millions of Americans who rely on the pharmaceutical industry and their products remember what it takes to actually get that pill to market.

A wine cellar for your home

May 14th, 2008

Have you ever wondered how someone affords a $2.5 million dollar mortgage. You always see these luxury home advertised for millions of dollars and you wonder who live there. This is especially true in more rural America with todays housing and financial climate. Many of these estates have many amenities that most people would not think of like wine refrigerator or wine cellars. I love to get online and take the virtual tours through some of the homes and they are amazing. I guess you need to dream big to make it big. One day when I am sitting in my custom luxury home writing about my day I will remember this post and give thanks to how I got there.

Men are vain

Men are growing in numbers as those seeking plastic surgery because their exercise and diet pills may not be giving them results fast enough.

Going rafting

May 9th, 2008

This year we are making plans to go rafting on some of the local rivers that offer some class 2-3 rapids. In our area you can find inflatable boats for sell or rent depending on what your goals are. The ones that you can rent are typically more durable and hold more people and will usually be guided. The boats that you buy can be great because this gives you the flexibility to go whenever you want and plus you can take your time along the way and stop off to a little fishing if you like.
