As the debate on how skinny models were getting and the fact that they needed to put on some weight, the fashion gods spoke out about what was not in 2008. They were: Black tights with everything, skinny models, and ugly shoes. Fashion designers try to anticipate the fickle nature of their customer. As the younger generation try to find ways to lose weight they are setting the stage for what is fashionable, those in the fashion must pay attention. With the advent of online blogs, fashions such as Juicy Couture can be made big over night, or suffer the fate of a disgruntled teen with 1000’s of friends on MySpace.
