Thousands travelers stranded
A few days there were thousands of travelers stranded across the US as American Airlines looked to make sure their planes were up to date. As the airlines struggle to find ways to cut cost you have a major airline having to suspend air travel for maintenance that probably could be done during normal scheduled times. I am sure that this has created a need to have travel insurance where you get reimbursed for unexpected travel expenses like hotels. There is even travel health insurance which can come in very handy if you are traveling abroad and fall ill and have to see a hospital or Dr. outside of the US. While it may not happen that often being outside of the country or even just away from home and needing medical attention can be quite expensive and now you can guard against this unexpected cost.
