What are you watching

For those parents that are looking for some great content to show their children that does not revolve around Hannah Montana, MTV, or nickelodeon. While most of the programming on TV is not horrible there is a lack of positive messages that children can take and apply to their lives. At Nest Entertainment they offer a large selection of Christian videos and music that is not only inspirational but has a great message.Kids have been cut lose to fend for themselves as busy parents are using the Tv as a babysitter and it is time to bring back the family in 2009 and provide positive content for their kids.

I just came across this hilarious video for a product called “Turbolestra” It is a play on some of the male enhancement drugs but for those with car performance issues. In one part of the short clip they show a guy with his wife at a stop light and she challenges him to get out into traffic and he claims that he cannot due to his problem. The product is actually just breath mints but made think what a great concept to offer your customers who are there looking for performance parts for their cars. Time to travel

With all the uncertainty about finances and what the next few months will bring there are now some great airfares to destinations like las vegas. With the competition among the airlines and the lower fuel costs airfare has started to come down and hotels are even pitching in to help get consumers to their properties. They are hoping that once people get to Las Vegas then they will spend money at the hotels and local attractions providing a much needed boost to the local economy. So if you have any thoughts of taking a vacation now is the time to travel and take advantage of some great deals on hotels and airfare.

Are mortgage rates heading lower

As the stock market gains new ground investors are looking to short rates as a marker for future interest rates. It was initially thought that with consumer confidence dipping a bit lower earlier in the quarter that a recession may be in the forecast. Thankfully this has not proven to be the case. List of Billionaires

For those with a curiosity on who the richest people in the world are you can check out George Lindemann Jr and see who was at the top of the list. As you can well imagine, it is Bill Gates that heads that list. What was interesting is that the Sam Walton, founder of the giant retailer Walmart, if still alive would have been twice as rich as Bill Gates. You can also see the influence of the Walmart fortune as 5 out of the top 10 are Mr. Waltons kids. It is amazing to think that a simple idea that started in Arkansas, with the right vision, has turn into the worlds largest retailer.
