Bring on the Summer

June 30th, 2009

School is out and the kids have been waiting for Summer to get here as the winter seemed to last a long time. It is great to see them out playing with their friends and playing with some of their toys that you almost forgot you had because they are more related to outdoor activities. Like the remote controlled RC cars and the new Rip Stix that once they climb on it looks like they never took a break. Summer is such a great time for kids to be kids and really create some great memories.

Going East for vacation

June 22nd, 2009

This Summer our family is going to be heading east back the Philadelphia area to visit friends and take a much needed vacation. While we are there some of the families that we will be meeting up with have suggested taking a few days and heading down to the Outer Banks just on the coast on North Carolina. It is about 6 hour drive from where we will be and we have the ability to rent a home right on the beach that will house about 15 people. So while we are in the final stages of getting our trip together we are looking at the possibility of heading out to the shore in NC and really getting away for awhile.

Your business online

June 22nd, 2009

I am always amazed at the disconnect that many small businesses have with their online store and their brick and mortar store. For example I purchased a small household item through a local retailer and thought that I would use their online website to make the purchase and then pick up the item in the store. Everything went smoothly unitl I had to go pick up the item in the store. The reason I purchased online was to avoid the checkout line and having the ability to print out my confirmation and then just show this at the store and be on my way. It comes to find out that their receipt printer in the store does not print out local receipts that an order is processed so we had to redo the entire order and it took and additional 15 minutes to correct the original order.

Tis the season to open boxes

June 20th, 2009

In a new use for online video sites, people are actually creating and people are watching others open their gifts and other electronic gadgets. There is a video on YouTube that has received over 100K views of some guy opening their new PS3. Have we gotten that bored that we need to watch complete strangers open gifts. I can only imagine what Christmas eve videos will bring when families are gathered around the tree, and your favorite nephew is video taping you opening your gift in yuor favorite Scooby Doo PJ’s. Just remember that it may end up for millions to view. So take a little extra care this Holiday season when waking up and heading for the Christmas tree to open your presents.

Merry Christmas!

Trimming down

June 9th, 2009

There are numerous products on the web that lay claim to help you lose weight and burn fat. Many of them are mainly hype so you are asking how can I tell which fat burner is valid and will possibly work for me. I have been doing some reading and the best thing to look for is a reputable review site that shows various competing products and also shows various user feedback. Many of us will not know if the claims that the various ingredients actually do work so you must rely on consumer feedback to help understand if the product may be right for you.

Controlling your appetite

June 1st, 2009

We have been trying to get fit and toned for the upcoming Summer months as well as a vacation that my wife and I are headed too. We have been doing more cardio and resistance training which appears to helping in losing body fat and toning up. We have noticed that we are both hungrier during the day as a result of our increased workouts and someone suggested that we might try an appetite suppressant. As luck would have it we were able to find a site that helps to compare some of the best appetite suppressant supplements available. The site is well laid out and provide some great information to help you the consumer decide which might be right for your body.
