We recently returned from a vacation to Disney World and I am always amazed at the design and infrastructure that has been built to accommodate the 100’s of thousands of people that visit the parks daily. One of the cool technologies that we saw was the use of portable barcode scanners that enabled a staff to scan our park passes and have that information automatically transmitted to the front gate for some photos that we had taken. All we needed to do was to stop by on our way out and the prints were ready to go. With that type of convenience and service Disney is creating a whole new way to sell you added benefits while enjoying your time in the park.
