There are several American cities I would like to travel to some day and Boston, Massachusetts would be one of those cities high on my list. There is no shortage of history around this historic city and no shortage of real estate in Boston either. There is luxury real estate available for those that can afford it and there are other more economical spots for those looking to make a home in Boston. I think real estate investments are a great way to make money and investors should be keeping a close eye on the land in and around the Boston area. Homes of that caliber will be outfitted with Baldwin hardware in the kitchen and granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Now would be a good time to lock in a low price for land or other housing structures in Boston; because I’m sure we will see a sharp rise in the land and real estate prices in the near future.

We have lately gone to other places, but I miss the area around South Carolina known as Myrtle Beach. There have been new myrtle beach hotels oceanfront that have amazing views and offer a great place to vacation. The Carolinas are booming these days and more travelers and tourists are seeing the beauty in the Southeast now. The design of a diamond necklace
January 2nd, 2010My wife has been asking for a new diamond necklace for our upcoming anniversary. Since there are so many different diamonds and cuts I asked her to list what type and style she wanted in order to make sure I was looking for the right. She has always loved the princess cut but she wanted a diamond pendant necklace where the diamond was actually attached to the necklace. After some research we found out that this was called a diamond bezel necklace and apparently is quite common. The problem is that most of these have additional smaller diamonds on the necklace itself and she is more interested in just a solitaire diamond. The search will go on and hopefully I will find that perfect diamond in time for our anniversary.

January 2nd, 2010Do you consider yourself as someone that is living life or just watching it? I read a nice little quote the other day and thought it was an interesting perspective. It was someone saying that they didn’t watch tv because they would rather live life than to watch someone else living it. I have watched my share of television over the years, so I am guilty of watching other people live their lives. I don’t get to watch tv as much as I would like to these days and I stay here on the computer mostly. Even with the new plasma TV’s becoming more available replacing all of our tv’s is becoming more tempting. There are some great plasma mounts that allow you to put these TV’s on the wall where they look the best and do not take up a lot of floor space.
What did you get for the holiday season
January 2nd, 2010The 2009 Christmas shopping season is over and one of the hottest toys for this year was an electronic hamster. The craze that was started by the zhu zhu pets was quite interesting and even our daughter was putting them on her wish list. The pets were just the beginning because there are several accessories that you need to have to help bring them to life and help them interact with each other. It will be interesting to see what 2010 will hold for top toys and if some of the new 3D Tv’s will be on the market bringing to life some of the high end video games.
