New jobs in healthcare

January 1st, 2012

In the new year there are going to be some significant changes in healthcare and how providers are billing and being compensated from insurance companies and the government. That is why new jobs like Coding Educator Jobs are on the rise to help train staff and health care providers the proper way to bill and code various office visits. With almost every office now being digital and submitting claims electronically you want to input the right office visit or procedure code at the start or risk long delays in getting reimbursed. So having your billing and office staff trained yearly on the new updates is essential to their practice.

Cleaner water at home

October 9th, 2011

There has been a lot of noise of trying to reduce the number of water bottles that the US uses in a given year that people are looking for ways to get that filtered water at home. It is estimated that we throw enough water bottles in a given year to circle the Earth 3 times. With a reverse osmosis system in your home you can have clean, clear water at home and then take that water with you when you head outdoors or to a sports game.

The Move

October 8th, 2011

Guest post from: Constance Rodgers

When I first moved into this house I thought the repairs were going to be minor. I knew I’d have to paint and fix the www.home-alarm-systems.com security system and probably have someone come in and get the backyard ready but when that was all said and done it turned out there was a whole mess of new issues. The AC unit was on its last leg and the roof began to totally leak which was an expensive bummer, to say the least. The yard looked great but now we had termites and two very determined moles who were chewing the whole place up so that had to be dealt with quickly, too. I just had no idea owning my own place would be this much work but at the end of the day I know it’s going to be worth putting in to make this place great. There’s nothing like owning your home and I’m happy to say that I’m finally a homeowner in the neighborhood I’ve been dreaming about living in for a long time!

Moving Out Here

August 3rd, 2011

Contributed by Milford Woods

I decided when I moved out here the first thing I needed to do was host a party! I have this huge backyard now and there’s no reason not to utilize it to my best ability. My husband bought a huge grill to keep on the patio and we got an outdoor TV with SatelliteStarInternet.com internet connected to it so we could stream the games and not have to pay extra for cable. I couldn’t wait to show off our new house to all our friends and I just knew they were going to totally understand why we moved all the way out here! It’s nice because there’s so much room for the dogs to roam and the kids have places to play now that they never had before. If only I had more time to get it looking exactly the way I want to before the party but alas…football season starts when football season starts! You can’t put a timeline on it because it happens when it happens every single year!

Finding HP toner cartridges

June 30th, 2011

Companies like HP are creating earth friendly printers and hewlett packard toner cartridges that can be recycled. Because the consumables are the are the most expensive part of the printer and if not recycled can create a huge burden on our land fills. HP has been a leader in printer technology and has taken on the responsibility to help their customers recycle their ink and toner cartridges and providing discounts for those customers. While there are companies that will offer to recycle your ink cartridges I would always recommend getting genuine ink and toner for your printer to maintain the quality that you expect from your printer.

Many people and businesses are finding that online printing can be a huge time saver and be very cost effective. When you look at the cost to have your photos or custom presentation folders online there is now a substantial savings and plus you are printing on newer equipment. This will give you a more professional look than your 5 year old laser or ink printer. And many of the sites offer same day shipping or pick up to help you with those last minute jobs.

Gifts for your father

May 3rd, 2011

My kids are starting to ask what I would like this year for Fathers Day. I have been toying with the idea of trying to make my own batch of beer so Beer Accessories are at the top of mind. I have friends that have created their own selection of beers that actually taste pretty good. With all the options that are now available the beer that you can create at home is much better than when I was in college. I think the equipment and ingredients are much better which helps in the overall quality. So yes for Fathers day I think I will try my first batch of home brew and enjoy this Summer.

You can work from home

April 21st, 2011

Do you work a lot at home? Perhaps you do all of your work at home like me? I think a work at home business is good for creating a 2nd stream of income or just making your first income. A home office that has a computer ,brother printers and a blog are what every work-at-home dad or mom will need. A variety of other office supplies come in handy too, but it does depend on which kind of work at home business you have. For me, I need most of the supplies you can find in an office store. There is also a few other things on the side, like a labeling device; which would come in handy for my work at home office. I like being able to spend my days staying at home. If you look around and get into the right industries, you can see that a work at home job can work for you too!

Using content and pictures to drive traffic

March 18th, 2011

Now traffic is king and creating tons of traffic is another important element in receiving high ranks from the search engines. There are lots of free ways to help drive more traffic to your website. A new webmaster just wants to get indexed first, before they start trying to crawl up the ladder in the big search engines. A good way to help get your website indexed is to submit it to various directories. Once you start getting traffic then you need to offer them something of value and this is where content and pictures can really increase your repeat customers.
There is a term that is used in search engine management called “Evergreen content” What this means is content that is not topical, such who won Monday Night Football, but more along the lines of “How to find fresh content” This and other topics that have no time of expiration and are very specific in their search terms. If you are trying to get noticed and traffic to your site, then you need to be specific in your keywords, and use through out your blog or site.
For pictures you can subscribe to sites like fotolia.com where they have over 12 million royalty free images that you can use. Having a source of royalty free photos can be a huge deal to a blogger in order to provide something eye catching to your readers.
The last method that we are going to discuss is linking to other high quality sites and content. Linking to high quality content is also very helpful when deploying your search engine campaign. And if you can get those sites to link back to you your are farther ahead than your competition. Don’t rely on a simple few keywords in your description in hopes to achieve top placement in the search engines. Design your content and messaging around your top 3 or 4 key phrases and then use those in all your online branding.
