Vacation in Orlando
November 6th, 2009How nice would it be to live on the beach? Or maybe just have your own private island? I think it would be nice for awhile, but might get old later on. It just always seems like the best way to describe paradise; is to have the sand of a beach, palm trees, blue waters, and a ocean breeze. That just seems like the best life in the world for anybody that doesn’t get to be around the beach much. I do enjoy my time there, if I am only staying in the resorts as part of an orlando vacations package that line up and down the beaches. Maybe one day I will run into the riches of the world and can afford a stay on the beach, but for now it will just be the once a year vacations that I go on, to get me to the beach for paradise!

This more personal touch has been a way that we send updates to our families and friends through out the country and wishing them holiday cheer. This year should be no different, but for may the delivery of the cards. With the wide spread use of many social network sites you can now simply post your latest photos up for your friends and family to see without having to run down to the post office. While this may be OK for some I know that we will be sending along the hard copies of the photo cards to our family because the grandparents love to hang those pictures up for all to see during the holiday season.

August 25th, 2008Every year my wife and I always look at each other about this time and ask “What do you want for Christmas?” We know that now we have kids our presents usually consist of a card and something small and spend the bulk of money on the kids which one of my daughters would has been looking at dollhouses that are quite extravagant. This has never been an issue since we usually end up buying items we want through out the year. But what if someone were to offer you the ability to pick any item that you wanted with a value up to $1000 and then be able to include five of your closest friends. This got me thinking of what I have always wanted but never gone out and purchased for my self. HMMMM! I have been wanting a new laptop but cannot justify the new purchase based on the need to want ratio. There are always more things that rank higher on our list and a new laptop is not one of them. But if I were given the opportunity to win one then that changes everything. I would take my new laptop and send my current one to my parents so that they can have a laptop from this decade. Then we could share pictures and videos much easier and they would be able to stay up to date on all the activities of their three grandchildren.
