We recently started replacing our light bulbs with the new energy efficient bulbs as they start to burn out. One of the interesting facts about some of the lights is that when they are turned on they will slowly light up to full power which helps in their overall efficiency. While it takes some getting use to they have been a great way to go green and the projected energy savings will add up. Just simple things that you can do around the home can help make an impact on the environment and on your monthly budget. Even businesses are starting to go green to save on their bills and cut down on overhead by simply replacing their overhead lights to more cost effective bulbs.
